MuleSoft Voted Market and Innovation Leader For AI Integration Platforms

206 AI developers voted across one of the most fragmented categories in the AI engineering stack. Here is what the results reveal about the integration landscape.

The March 2026 IT Brand Pulse AI Brand Leader survey asked 206 members of the AI developer community to vote for Market Leader and Intelligence & Innovation Leader in AI Integration Platforms, one of 26 products in the AI Engineering stack. MuleSoft (Salesforce) took the top position in both categories, receiving 19.9% of votes for both Market Leader and Intelligence & Innovation Leader. Workato (18.0%) and Boomi (15.0%) followed closely in Innovation.

Notably, “Others” captured the largest share in both market (29.1%) and innovation (27.2%) voting, signaling broad dispersion of developer preference across emerging and established platforms. These results indicate a category where established vendors compete with AI-native approaches, and no single platform has yet consolidated leadership. The IT Brand Pulse analyst team expects integration platforms to evolve significantly as AI agents require real-time, bidirectional connections to enterprise systems.
