The March 2026 IT Brand Pulse AI Brand Leader survey asked 211 members of the AI developer community to vote for Market Leader and Intelligence & Innovation Leader in AI Application Platforms, one of 26 products in the AI Engineering stack. Hugging Face took the top position in both categories, receiving 28.0% of votes for Market Leader and 29.9% for Intelligence & Innovation Leader. Replicate (18.0%) and Modal (17.1%) followed in Innovation.
The balanced distribution across vendors indicates a highly competitive and fast-evolving category where multiple platforms are shaping developer workflows. The IT Brand Pulse analyst team expects AI Application Platforms to become an increasingly important category as developers seek unified environments that combine model access, deployment, and application development into a single workflow.
